CAFA Annual Election – 2021
We’re excited to announce that 2021-2022 Annual Election has started! In this election, we’ll elect:
CAFA President (one-year term)
CAFA Vice President (one-year term)
3 members of CAFA Board of Directors(three-year term)
The Election Committee, formed by the CAFA Board of Directors, would like to conduct the election as follows, step-by-step, with deadlines:
The election will start with the nomination process from November 22, 2021, through December 3, 2021.
The Election Committee will verify and confirm these nominations and collect candidates’ biographies and portrait photos (nominee photos are optional) from December 3, 2021 to December 10, 2021;
On December 13, 2021, the Election Committee will post candidates’ names along with their brief biographies and photos (if provided) onto CAFA website for CAFA members to review and vote for;
The Voting System will open to all CAFA members from December 13, 2021 to December 23, 2021;
The Election Committee will confirm the election results and announce the final voting results by December 30, 2021.
The Election Committee members will stay neutral in the election process with no expressed bias toward or against any candidate. All election and vote-related information privately sent to or received by the Election Committee will stay confidential within the Election Committee during the election period. The Election Committee reserves the sole right to interpret any and all election and voting rules, and the sole right to change election dates at its discretion.
CAFA will not grow without your participation. Now it is the time to exercise your right to nominate and elect candidates that you trust to serve CAFA and our community in the next few years!
